SINABI ni Vanessa Hudgens na challenging experience ang paghahanap niya sa kanyang tunay na sarili.

Ang 25-anyos na aktres ay sumikat halos dalawang dekada na ang nakalipas nang ilabas ang kanyang Disney movie na High School Musical.

At para kay Vanessa ang teenage fame ay may mga kapalit.

“Finding and being your true self [was hard then]. It takes so much energy to find-it’s easier to hide behind a mask,” pagbubunyag niya sa Back To School/Distressed issue ng Flaunt magazine. “I mean, I went through a period where I shopped at Hot Topic. I didn’t want guys to look at me. But it made things easier.”

Naging kasintahan ni Vanessa ang kanyang katambal sa High School Musical na si Zac Efron sa loob ng limang taon bago sila maghiwalay noong 2010.

Ngunit hindi si Zac ang kanyang first boyfriend.

“Well, my first boyfriend was in sixth grade. At the time, you think it’s a big relationship but it’s the furthest thing from a relationship you can possibly imagine,” pagbabalik-tanaw ni Vanessa. “And there are certain rules, too. Like you can’t let them [your partner] break up with you-you have to break up with them.”

Kilala ngayon si Vanessa bilang isa sa most attractive young women sa entertainment.

Batid man niya ang matinding pressure na maging pinakamaganda sa kanyang mga kasabayan sa Hollywood, hindi niya hinahayaan ang mentalidad na ito na limitahan ang kanyang diet.

“You only have one life, and there are just so many delicious things. Like chocolate. Wine,” aniya.

Sunod na mapapanood si Vanessa sa horror-comedy flick na Kitchen Sink, na nakatakdang ilabas sa 2015.
