Inamin ng aktor ng Harry Potter – na karelasyon ngayon ang kanyang Kill Your Darlings co-star na si Erin Darke – na sa mga kasamahan lamang niya sa pelikula siya naghahanap ng pag-ibig dahil naiintindihan nila ang mga demand ng industriya.

Sabi niya sa The Mirror newspaper: ‘’If you’re in a film and you’re an actor and your girlfriend is not an actor and you say, ‘Right, I’m going away for four months and, no, I won’t see you at all during that time’, that could go down really badly.

‘’The other person would just say, ‘Well, why don’t you just not take the job?’, whereas another actor would understand that’s just not something you would do.’’

Ibinunyag din ng 25-anyos na hunk na agad siyang nakaramdam ng koneksiyon kay Erin, 29, nang magkakilala sila sa set ng pelikula noong nakaraang taon.

Paliwanag niya: ‘’We just got on immediately. It was one of those instant things where you’re like, ‘Oh, I really like this person.’

‘’You just have a connection with somebody and then suddenly it’s incredibly easy to talk to them - one of those sort of situations.’’

Sinabi rin ni Daniel na hindi apektado ng kanyang superstardom ang kanilang relasyon at sinabing ang talent ni Erin at hindi ang kanilang public romance ang dahilan ng tagumpay ng kasintahan.

‘’She’s an actress, and I knew as soon as she experiences any success, if she’s even remotely linked to me, people will say, ‘Well that only happened because of going out with him.

‘’People are quick to make those judgments and I wanted to make sure they can never make them about her, because I know how hard she’s worked to be where she is.’’
