Humiling si Senator-Judge Migz Zubiri sa Senate impeachment court na ilipat ang simula ng trial laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte pagpatak ng 3:00 ng hapon hanggang matapos umano sa pagsapit ng 10:00 ng gabi.
Sa manipestasyon ni Zubiri sa ikinasang impeachment trial nitong Martes, Agosto 11, 2026, pinunto niya ang pangangailangan daw lagi ng Senado na putulin ang naturang pagdinig dahil sa kanilang legislative session.
“Having the sessions for the impeachment court in the morning, we have to put a halt because of the session in the afternoon,” pagsisimula niya.
Dagdag pa niya, “In the last week, when we did our session, we only took about two hours, the most tackling the legislative calendar.”
Dahil dito, magalang na humiling si Zubiri na ilipat na lang daw ang kanilang legislative session tuwing umaga at ilipat naman ang impeachment trial sa hapon hanggang abutin ng gabi.

“May I make a suggestion that we move our legislative sessions in the morning at ten, and then have the impeachment trial at three in the afternoon. So that we are not hampered by our legislative calendar when our discussions, such as these, are important,” aniya.
Diin pa ni Zubiri, “When you present the evidence and the cross will be done by the counsel for the respondent, hindi po mapuputol ‘yong kanilang discussion.”
Pagpapatuloy ng senator-judge, maaari daw silang manatili sa impeachment trial hanggang sa magsawa sila at makatutok din daw ang maraming Pilipino rito pagsapit ng gabi.
“Hanggang sawa tayo. Puwede tayo dito from three to ten ng gabi. That way, lahat ng tao ay makakapanood din ng mga sagot nila. At the same time, we can do our work, and maybe… the proceedings of the impeachment trial,” pagtatapos pa niya.
Samantala, inirekomenda naman nina Senator-Judge Pia Cayetano at Senator-Judge Camille Villar na talakayin na lang daw ang naging manipestasyon ni Zubiri sa kanilang caucus lalo na raw at hindi nakadalo sa pagdinig nitong Martes ang Minority floor leader na si Senator-Judge Alan Peter Cayetano.
