Ngunit sino nga ba ang ikaanim na testigong si Wamil at ano ang posisyon niya kaugnay sa confidential funds ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) at DepEd sa ilalim ng pamunuan ni Vice President Sara Duterte?
Kasalukuyang 34-anyos si Wamil at nagtatrabaho bilang COA-Audit Team Leader (ATL) sa Pasay City.
Nagtapos si Wamil ng kaniyang kolehiyo sa Central Luzon State University sa kursong Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA), habang nakakuha naman siya ng Juris Doctor Degree sa Arellano University-School of Law.
Ani Wamil sa naging pagtestigo niya nitong Lunes, sinabi niyang mahigit 11 na taon na raw siyang nagtatrabaho sa COA mula pa noong 2014.
“I’ve been with the Commission on Audit for more than 11 years po. I presently hold the position of attorney for the Commission on Audit,” aniya.
Paglilinaw pa niya, “It is the description of the position na hinahawakan ko. But currently, I am an audit team leader sa COA Pasay.”
Anong koneksyon niya sa confidential funds ng OVP at DepEd sa pamumuno ni VP Sara?
Pagbabahagi ni Wamil, bago para siya maging audit team leader ng COA sa Pasay City, tumayo raw muna siya bilang state auditor ng COA-ICFAO noong Setyembre 2014 hanggang Pebrero 2024.
“Before my appointment sa Commission on Audit sa Pasay, I was previously assigned as a state auditor of the Intelligence and Confidential Funds Audit Office of the COA,” ‘ika niya.
Ano ang trabaho ng COA-ICFAO na ginampanan ni Wamil?
Batay sa deskripsiyon ni Wamil, nasa ilalim daw ang ICFAO sa opisina ng chairperson na in-charge sa pangangasiwa sa liquidation ng confidential funds at intelligence funds ng iba’t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan.
Aniya, kasama na raw dito ang mga ahensya ng pang-nasyonal na pamahalaan, mga ahensyang pagmamay-ari ng gobyerno, mga hawak na korporasyon, at mga lokal na yunit ng pamahalaan.
“Ang COA-ICFAO ay ‘yong office under the office of the chairperson in-charge with the conduct of the post audit ng liquidation of the confidential fund and intelligence funds of the various government agencies. Which include the national government agencies, the government owned, or control corporations, or the local government units,” pagtatapos niya.
