Nanindigan si Vice President Sara Duterte na hindi umano kasong crimes against humanity ang programang “War on Drugs” o giyera kontra droga ng kaniyang ama na si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Kasalukuyang nakapiit sa kustodiya ng International Criminal Court (ICC) si FPRRD sa The Hague, Netherlands, kaugnay sa kinakaharap niyang kasong crimes against humanity dahil sa naganap na madugong giyera kontra droga noon sa kaniyang administrasyon.

Batay sa pahayag ni VP Sara sa naging pagdalo niya sa ikinasang “Free Duterte” rally ng Filipino community (FilCom) sa The Hague, Netherlands, noong Miyerkules, Hulyo 29, 2026, idiniin niyang inimplementa ng administrasyon ni FPRRD ang giyera kontra droga laban umano sa “zero tolerance” ng bansa sa talamak na ipinagbabawal na gamot. 

“The Philippine government has a policy of zero tolerance for illegal drugs. How did the administration of President Duterte implement this policy? They created the Drug War. That is the anti-drug program… It is called ‘Tokang’” pagsisimula niya.

Ani VP Sara, hindi raw crime against humanity ang implementasyon ng programang Oplan Tokhang, at maaari lang itong ituring na mabuti o masamang pamamahala kagaya raw ng panunungkulan sa kasalukuyan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.

“The implementation of a program, whether it is good or bad, is not a crime against humanity. It may be good governance or bad governance,” aniya. 

Dagdag pa niya, “It is the same with how President Marcos is running the country right now. It can be good governance or it is clearly bad governance.” 

Pagpapatuloy ni VP Sara, hindi raw kasalanan sa populasyon ng mga Pilipino ang giyera kontra droga gaano man umano ito naging masamang programa. 

“That is not a crime against the Filipino population. How a program is implemented, whether there were mistakes, errors, it was a bad program, is not a crime against humanity,” ‘ika niya. 

“That is the crime that they are saying that President Duterte has done to the Filipino people,” pagtatapos pa niya.
