Matatandaang tumuon ang unang linggo ng impeachment trial sa Article IV ng Articles of Impeachment kung saan sumentro ito sa naging pagbabanta umano ni VP Sara sa buhay nina Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., First Lady Liza Marcos, at dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez noong Nobyembre 23, 2024, at mga sumunod pa.
Umupo sa unang tatlong araw ng impeachment trial si National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Senior Agent John Mark Calilung, habang humarap naman sa panig ng prosecution si pro bono private prosecutor Atty. Amando Virgil Ligutan kontra kay Atty. Carlo Joaquin Narvasa mula sa defense team.
Matapos nito, ano nga ba ang dapat na abangan ng publiko sa nakatakdang ikalawang linggo ng impeachment trial na magsisimula sa Lunes, Hulyo 13, hanggang Miyerkules, Hulyo 15, 2026?
Sa isinagawang press briefing ni impeachment court spokesperson Atty. Regie Tongol nitong Biyernes, Hulyo 10, sinabi niyang nakatakdang magsumite ang prosecution at defense ng kanilang pormal na memoranda para sa subpoena ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) records, Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) records, at bank records ni VP Sara at ng kaniyang mister.

“On Monday, July 13, 2026, 2:00 pm, both prosecutor panels and the defense must submit formal memoranda on the BIR records subpoena, subpoena for the AMLC, subpoena for the bank records,” pagsisimula niya.
Ani Tongol, nakatakda raw umupo sa witness deck sa Lunes si NBI Regional Director Jeremy Lotoc sa panig ng prosecution.
Habang nakatakda namang umupo sa witness deck sa Martes, Hulyo 14, si Office of the Vice President (OVP) Chief of Staff Atty. Zuleika Lopez, alinsunod sa ipinadalang subpoena ad testificandum sa huli.
Matatandaan kasing inilabas ng defense team ni VP Sara sa Senate impeachment trial noong Miyerkules, Hulyo 8, ang video ni Lopez noong Nobyembre 2024 na naging dahilan umano ng naging pagbabanta ng Bise Presidente sa buhay ng Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., First Lady Liza Marcos, at dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Samantala, nakatakdang umupo sa witness deck si Executive Director of the Legislative Security Bureau sa ilalim ng Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) sa Kamara na si Capt. Belinda Bello kaugnay sa usapin sa bank deposits at iba pang mga dokumento laban kay VP Sara.
Magkakaroon umano ng 10 minuto ang bawat panig para idiin ang kanilang mga posisyon habang tatlong minuto naman para sa mga pagsagot o “rebuttals.”
“On Wednesday, July 15, the witness on deck is the presentation of Capt. Belinda Belio on the bank deposits, NBI or documents subpoenas which ten minutes will be given to both sides to argue their positions based on their memoranda that they filed, and three minutes for rebuttal. That is what is going to happen next week,” pagtatapos niya.
