Naglabas ng pahayag ang ahensya Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) kaugnay sa pagrespeto nila sa ikinasang biglaang kilos-protesta ng religious group na Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) sa EDSA People Power Monument sa Quezon City umaga nitong Martes, Hunyo 30, 2026.
Sa inilabas na Facebook post ng DILG sa kanilang page nitong Martes, inihayag nilang nirerespeto raw nila ang constitutional right ng bawat Pilipino para ihayag ang kanilang mga ipinaglalaban at paniniwala.
“The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) reaffirms its respect for every Filipino's constitutional right to peacefully assemble and express their views,” pagsisimula nila.

Anang DILG, inatasan na raw nila ang Philippine National Police (PNP) na makipag-ugnayan sa local government sa QC upang ipatupad ang maximum tolerance, mag-implente ng wastong seguridad, at maglapat ng traffic management measure sanhi ng ikinasang malawakang protesta ng naturang religious group.
“In connection with the Iglesia ni Cristo rally along EDSA, the DILG has directed the Philippine National Police (PNP), in close coordination with the concerned local government unit, to exercise maximum tolerance and implement appropriate security and traffic management measures to help ensure that the activity remains peaceful, orderly, and safe for all,” diin nila.
Pagpapatuloy ng DILG, nananawagan daw sila sa lahat ng mga miyembro at stakeholders ng naturang protesta na maayos na gamitin ang kanilang karapatan nang sumusunod sa ipinag-uutos ng batas at makipag-ugnayan sa mga awtoridad.
“The DILG calls on all participants and stakeholders to exercise their rights responsibly, uphold the rule of law, and cooperate with authorities throughout the activity,” ‘ika nila.
“The Department remains committed to protecting public safety while upholding the constitutional freedoms of every Filipino,” pagtatapos ng DILG.
