Naglabas ng pahayag si Sen. Win Gatchalian na nag-uutos sa pagpapaiksi sa oras ng pasok ng mga personnel ng Senado simula 10:00 ng umaga ng Huwebes, Hunyo 4. 

Sa nasabing pahayag na inilabas ni Gatchalian, binanggit na ang pinaiksing oras ng pasok sa senado ay upang matiyak ang kaligtasan, seguridad, at kapakanan ng mga Senate personnel, partikular ang mga pumasok sa kanilang mga opisina sa araw na ito. 

“Since no official business has been scheduled today, June 4, 2026, and in consideration of the safety, security, and well-being of Senate personnel in light of the anticipated activities within and around the Senate premises,” saad sa pahayag. 

“Senate President Pro Tempore Win T. Gatchalian has authorized all Senate officers and employees who reported on site to leave the office beginning at 10:00 a.m. today,” dagdag pa rito. 

Gayunman, ang mga personnel ng Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms at Maintenance and General Services Bureau na mayroong shifting schedule ay hindi kasama sa nasabing pinaiksing oras ng pasok.

“Personnel of the Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms at Maintenance and General Services Bureau who follow shifting schedule are not included in the shortened work hours,” saad sa pagtatapos ng pahayag.
