Inalmahan ni International Criminal Court (ICC) assistant legal to counsel Atty.

“VP Sara Duterte’s opinion that the case against her father Rodrigo Duterte will fall on the failure to produce the names of 30,000 dead is interesting. VP Sara has an incredible platform and huge opportunity to raise the level of the discussion to more than this. This is a simplistic view that may convince some, but unfortunately, not the court, ani Conti.

“You have to prove that there were 30,000 victims. So, how can you prove systematic killings of 30,000 victims if you do not have the names of 30,000 victims…So, where is the system there of killing thousands? Sorry, bobo yung abugado nila,” ani VP Sara.

“The ICC in the judgment in the case Prosecutor v. Bemba dated March 21, 2016, reinforced jurisprudence of the Court that “the term ‘widespread’ connotes the large-scale nature of the attack and the large number of targeted persons, and that such attack may be ‘massive, frequent, carried out collectively with considerable seriousness and directed against a multiplicity of victims’,” saad ni Conti.

“I had expected Rodrigo Duterte’s defense to be more sophisticated and sagacious, considering the amount of money their camp is spending on lawyers. I look forward to better and sharper discourse with VP Sara, as well as Duterte supporters,” aniya.

Pahaging pa ni Conti, “But I try to never argue with idiots, because as Mark Twain said, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.”
