Sinabi ng Philippine Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) nitong Hulyo 28, mahigpit pa ring ipinagbabawal ang paghango ng tahong at iba pang shellfish sa mga nasabing lugar.

Ikinatwiran ng BFAR, natuklasan sa pagsusuri na nagpositibo pa rin sa Paralytic Shellfish Poison (PSP) o toxic red tide ang samples ng shellfish mula sa Bohol at Zamboanga del Sur

"All types of shellfish and Acetes sp. or alamang gathered from the areas shown above are NOT SAFE for human consumption," anang ahensya.

"Fish, squids, shrimps, and crabs are SAFE for human consumption provided that they are fresh and washed thoroughly, and internal organs such as gills and intestines are removed before cooking," dagdag pa ng BFAR.
