Pinayagan ng University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) ang kanilang mga empleyado na magsagawa ng work-from-home scheme sa araw ng Lunes, Hulyo 24, kung kailan gaganapin ang State of the National Address (SONA) ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Sa Memorandum No. ECLV-23-013 na inilabas ng UPD nitong Huwebes, Hulyo 20, binibigyan ng awtoridad ang unit heads para payagan ang kanilang personnel na magtrabaho sa kani-kanilang mga bahay.

"With the State of the Nation Address (SONA) expected to make travel to and from UP Diliman very difficult on Monday, 24 July 2023, the heads of various units in UP Diliman are authorized to adopt work-from-home arrangements for their personnel on the said day as the circumstances warrant and consistent with the exigencies of the service, " nakasaad sa memorandum na nilagdaan ni UPD Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II.

"Offices that are expecting in-person transactions for the day are enjoined to have the minimum number of needed on-site personnel," dagdag nito.

Samantala, kinakailangan pa rin umanong magtrabaho sa unibersidad ang mga empleyadong nasa ilalim ng mga opisinang nasa “essential functions" katulad na lamang ng University Health Service (UHS), UP Diliman Police, Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO), Special Services Brigade (SSB), at Campus Maintenance Office (CMO).

Muli ring pinaalala sa naturang memorandum ang pagkansela ng mga klase sa unibersidad alinsunod sa anunsyo ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City kamakailan.
