Pinag-iingat ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) ang publiko labansa isang indibidwal na nagpapanggap na opisyal ng ahensya upang makapag-solicit.
Sa Facebook post ng PAGASA, binalaan nito ang publiko na huwag maniwala sa nasabing indibdwal na humihingi ng donasyon para sa isang foundation.
"PAGASA would like to inform and caution the public of unauthorized individuals posing to be officials of the agency soliciting money for a foundation," pahayag ng ahensya.
"A report has been received by PAGASA that an email had been sent to a contractor by someone pretending to be a PAGASA official seeking to solicit donation to a certain foundation. We do not tolerate and detest that misrepresentation," pahabol ng PAGASA.

Nilinaw ng PAGASA, wala silang pinapahintulutang organisasyon o indibidwal na gamitin ang PAGASA, mga opisyal at empleyado nito para makahingi ng pabor.
"We request anyone who receive similar mail, email or calls to immediately report the matter to PAGASA Public Information Unit at Telephone No. (02) 8284-0800 local 102 to 103 or email us at [email protected]," dagdag pa ng ahensya.
