Nanawagan angDepartment of Labor and Employment sa mga employer sa pribadong sektor na ibigay ang tamang sweldo sa mga manggagawang agtatrabaho sa regular holidays.
Sa inilabas na Labor Advisory No. 25, Series of 2022, doble ang matatanggap na arawang sweldo ng isang empleyado na magtatrabaho sa Disyembre 30 at Enero 1 na idineklarang regular holidays.
“For work done during the regular holiday, the employer shall pay a total of 200 percent of the employee's wage for that day for the first eight hours (basic wage × 200 percent),” ayon sa DOLE.
"As for those who will work in excess of eight hours, the company shall pay the employee an additional 30 percent of the hourly rate on said day (hourly rate of the basic wage x 200 percent × 130 percent x number of hours worked)," dagdag pa ng ahensya.
