“The directive covers the inspection of personnel readiness, deployment capabilities, mobility assets, communication systems, and other logistical requirements to ensure that police units can immediately respond to emergencies,” saad ng PNP.

Anila, “Regional and provincial commanders have likewise been instructed to continuously monitor weather developments, identify vulnerable areas within their jurisdictions, and implement appropriate contingency measures before conditions worsen.”

“Police units have also been directed to work closely with Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils, local government units, the Office of Civil Defense, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Philippine Coast Guard, and other partner agencies to support pre-disaster preparations, evacuation efforts when necessary, traffic management, security in evacuation centers, and other public safety operations,” dagdag pa nila.

I have directed all commanders to remain proactive, keep our personnel and resources ready, and work closely with our partner agencies.
