Inanunsyo ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) na sila ay naka-full alert status na sa kasalukuyan, kasunod ang nakaambang Senate at Metro Manila activities na magaganap ngayong Lunes, Hulyo 6.
Idineklara ang pagtataas sa naturang status kasunod ang pagsisimula ng impeachment trial ng Senado laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte ngayong araw.
Ayon sa ulat ng NCRPO, epektibo ang full alert status ng ahensya simula pa noong 5:00 ng hapon, Hulyo 5—na layong tiyakin ang seguridad at kaligtasan ng lahat kaugnay sa mga kaganapan.
“This proactive measure aims to maintain continuous security coverage, rapid response capability, and stable peace and order amid anticipated movements and possible legal developments,” saad ng NCRPO.
Nauna nang inanunsyo ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na sila ay magpapadala ng 6,630 pulis upang bantayan ang seguridad ng Senate complex, perimeter zones, access routes, at iba pa.
“The deployment ensures sustained police visibility, orderly crowd and traffic management, and immediate operational response should any situation require intervention,” anang NCRPO.
“Civil Disturbance Management units, tactical response teams, mobile patrol elements, investigators, SOCO personnel, EOD/K9 handlers, drone operators, medical responders, and arresting units are positioned to reinforce on‑ground operations and provide swift support across all contingencies,” dagdag pa nila.

Sa pahayag naman na ibinahagi ni NCRPO chief Major Gen. Anthony Aberin, iginiit niya na ang prayoridad ng kanilang ahensya ay siguruhin ang kapayapaan at kaligtasan nang may pagsunod sa mga umiiral na batas.
“Our foremost priority is the safety and security of everyone in the vicinity—employees, senators, rally participants, and the general public. NCRPO will uphold peace and order with professionalism and firm adherence to established protocols throughout the conduct of Senate‑related activities,” saad ni Aberin.
Magsisimula sa ganap na 2:00 ng hapon ngayong araw ang impeachment trial laban kay VP Sara.
