Pinaboran ng International Criminal Court (ICC) Trial Chamber III ang hiling ng Prosecution na mabuksan ang ilang mga nakumpiskang gamit ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte nang maaresto ang huli noong Marso 2025.
Sa inilabas na bagong dokumento ng ICC sa case ni FPRRD na nakapetsa noong Biyernes, Hulyo 3, 2026, mababasang sinabi nila na may resonable naman daw na rason ang Prosecution sa pagkakaroon ng susi sa ilang mga gamit ng dating Pangulo na nasa kustodiya ng Registry.
“The Chamber therefore finds that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the examination of these materials would produce evidence that is necessary for the investigation,” anila.
Anang ICC, wala umanong “disagreement” o pagtanggi sa Trial Chamber kaugnay sa kahilingang mabuksan ng Prosecution ang ilang mga gamit ni FPRRD ngunit dapat daw nilang ibalik sa Registry ang naturang mga gamit ng dating Pangulo sa loob ng dalawang buwan na lilipas.
Samantala, “redacted” o hindi naman ibinahagi sa publiko ng ICC ang partikular na mga gamit ni FPRRD na maaaring mabuksan Prosecution.

“The Chamber therefore finds that such examination is necessary and proportionate to the legitimate investigative needs. Accordingly, the Chamber grants the requested access to [REDACTED] and [REDACTED],” ‘ika nila.
Giit naman ng ICC, maaari nga lang daw na magkaroon ng kaugnayan ang ilang personal na gamit ni FPRRD sa kaniyang pamilya at may posibilidad daw na malabag nila ang privacy rights ng ilang mga indibidwal kaya raw hindi nila papaboran ang pagbubukas ng lahat ng mga gamit ng dating Pangulo.
“The Chamber further notes the Defence’s arguments that the Keys were ‘seized while he was travelling with members of his family’, and it is therefore ‘entirely possible that the keys provide access to material belonging to, or concerning, his relatives, such that their examination would intrude upon the privacy rights of third parties’,” anila.
Dagdag pa nila, “In light of these circumstances, the Chamber finds that the requested access to the Keys is neither necessary nor proportionate, and should therefore be rejected.”
