Nagbigay ng pahayag si Vice President Sara Duterte kaugnay sa ikinasang kilos-protesta ng mga miyembro ng Iglesia Ni Cristo sa EDSA People Power Monument nitong Martes, Hunyo 30.
Ito ay matapos ianunisyo ng Ombudsman na binabalak nilang kasuhan ng plunder si Sen. Rodante Marcoleta kaugnay sa umano’y pagtanggap nito ng ₱75-million campaign donation noong 2025 elections.

Sa latest Facebook post ni VP Sara nito ring Martes, sinabi niyang sinasalamin umano ng nasabing protesta ang himutok niya noon pang 2024 sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.
Aniya, “The people gathered in EDSA today reflect a growing sentiment that I have consistently expressed since 2024. This administration has been defined by poor governance and its failure to acknowledge and address the country’s real problems.”

“While countless of our kababayans struggle with rising prices, job insecurity, and the increasing cost of daily life, the President has remained detached from the hardships confronting Filipinos,” dugtong pa ni VP Sara.
Sa halip na harapin umano raw ng administrasyon ang mga problema para lutasin, mas pinili umano nitong patahimikin ang mga kritiko sa anyo ng pagpapanagot.
Dagdag pa ng Bise Presidente, “It has weaponized the justice system by filing cases against and imprisoning individuals who dare speak out against alleged corruption and abuses in Malacañang, question the administration’s competence, or criticize the President, including allegations concerning his drug use.”
Ayon kay VP Sara, hindi na ito usapin ng politika kundi ng dangal ng estado at kinabukasan ng mga Pilipino.
