Kabilang na si Kabataan Partylist Rep. Renee Co sa mga tagapagsalita ng House Prosecution Panel na tututok sa impeachment case ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Para kay Co, bibitbitin daw niya ang boses ng kabataan sa pagkuha ng hustisya hinggil sa mga alegasyong ibinabato laban kay VP Sara.
“Aasahan natin na dadalhin po natin yung boses ng kabataan na nananwagan sa hustisya,” ani Co.
Isa si Co sa mga tagapagsalita ng House Prosecution Panel na binubuo ng 11 mambabatas ng Kamara na sina: Batangas 2nd district Rep. Gerville Luistro, Bicol Saro Partylist Rep. Terry Ridon, 1-Rider Partylist Rep. Ramon Gutierrez, San Juan City Rep. Maria Zamora, Iloilo 3rd district Rep. Lorenz Defensor, Akbayan Partylist Rep. Chel Diokno, Mamamayang Liberal Partylist Rep. Leila de Lima, Dinagat Islands District Rep. Kaka Bag-Ao, Bukidnon 2nd district Rep. Jonathan Flores, Cagayan de Oro City 1st district Rep. Loran Suan at Manila 3rd district Rep. Joel Chua.
Nitong Lunes, Mayo 18, inaasahang magco-convene ang impeachment court, alinsunod sa inanunsyo ni Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano.

“The Senate received the Resolution of the House of Representatives setting forth the said Articles of Impeachment, together with all annexes thereto, on 13 May 2026. Pursuant to Rule I of the Senate Rules of Procedure on Impeachment Trials and consistent with its mandate under Article XI, Section 3 of the Constitution, the Senate has taken proper order of the impeachment and shall immediately proceed to its consideration,” ayon sa liham na ibinahagi ni SP Cayetano sa mga kapuwa senador.

Ito ang kauna-unahang pagkakataon na mabubuksan sa impeachment court ang impeachment complaints laban kay VP Sara matapos ma-archived lamang sa Senado ang unang articles of impeachment laban sa Pangalawang Pangulo.
