Pinabulaanan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang kumakalat na social media post na nagsasabing handa na umano silang isilbi ang warrant of arrest mula sa International Criminal Court laban kay Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa. 

Sa isang Facebook post ng PNP nitong Martes, Mayo 12, sinabi nilang hindi sa kanila galing ang naturang social media post.

“The said post did not come from any official PNP communication platform and does not reflect the official position, statement, or policy of the organization,” saad ng PNP.

Dagdag pa nila, “The public is advised to exercise caution and avoid sharing unverified information that may cause confusion or mislead the public. “

Kaya naman mahigpit na kinondena ng PNP ang malisyosong pagpapakalat ng maling impormasyon at ang paggawa nito ay labag sa batas sa ilalim ng Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
