Ipinag-utos na ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang force evacuation para sa pitong lalawigang posible umanong maapektuhan ng banta ng tsunami, kasunod ng pagtama ng magnitude 7.5 na lindol sa Davao Oriental nitong Biyernes, Oktubre 10, 2025.
"Residents in the coastal areas in the affected regions are strongly advised TO IMMEDIATELY EVACUATE to higher grounds or move farther inland," anang DILG sa kanilang pahayag opisyal na FB page nitong Biyernes.

Inutusan din ng DILG ang lahat ng Local Chief Executives (LCEs) ng mga apektadong lugar na paghandaan ang nasabing tsunami warning.
1. Establish and strictly implement the critical preparedness measures based on the following DILG Preparedness Manuals.
2. Activate your respective Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) and Incident Management Teams (IMTs).
3. Immediately establish evacuation routes, directional signs, and safe zones for at-risk communities.
4. Coordinate closely with the concerned Regional and Provincial
DRRMCs, DOST-PHIVOLCS, and other relevant agencies for technical support, risk assessments, and public awareness campaigns.
Matatandaang ayon sa Phivolcs, maaar umanongmakaranas ng tsunami ang mga lalawigang nabanggit mula 9:43 ng umaga hanggang 11:43 ng tanghali nitong Biyernes, na posible pa raw magtagal hanggang sa mga susunod na oras.
"Based on the local tsunami scenario database, it is expected to experience wave heights of more than one meter above the normal tides and may be higher on enclosed bays and straits," anang Phivolcs.
Dagdag pa nila, "It is forecasted that the first tsunami waves will arrive between 09:43:54 to 11:43:54, 10 Oct 2025 (PST). These waves may continue for hours."
