Nagpahayag ng pagbati si House Speaker Martin Romualdez kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. dahil sa naging pagsama nito sa listahan ng Time Magazine para sa “100 Most Influential People of 2024.”
Matatandaang nito lamang Huwebes, nang ilabas ng TIME ang listahan nito ng “100 Most Influential People of 2024” kung saan kasama si Marcos para sa hanay ng “leaders.”
Sa isang pahayag nitong Biyernes, Abril 19, sinabi ni Romualdez na isang “remarkable achievement” ang nakamit ni Marcos sa naturang pagsama sa listahan ng TIME.
"This prestigious recognition underscores the President’s unwavering dedication to advancing our nation’s interests and securing a brighter future for all Filipinos," ani Romualdez.
“President Marcos’ visionary leadership has brought about tangible improvements in various facets of our society. His strategic economic policies have steered our country towards stability and growth, even during global uncertainties. Moreover, his steadfast stance against external threats, particularly in defending our sovereignty amidst escalating tensions, exemplifies his resolute commitment to protecting the Filipino people," dagdag pa niya.
Binanggit din ng House leader na palaging nagpapakita ang pangulo ng “genuine concern” para sa kapakanan ng bawat Pilipino,
Bukod dito, sinabi rin ni Romualdez na ang inisyatibo ni Marcos para talakayin ang mga hamon sa lipunan at pagyamanin ang pagiging inklusibo ay sumasalamin sa mga adhikain ng bansa.
