“I am one with Filipino Christians all over the country and accross the world in the solemn observance of the Holy Week,” mensahe ni Marcos.
“Ultimately, no matter how constant or diverse this occasion is in the Filipino psyche, one this emerges true each time: That God, in His divine and everlasting wisdom, manifested His immeasurable and incomparable love to us all through the very human person of Jesus Christ,” dagdag niya.
Saad ng pangulo, mahalagang isa-isip at isabuhay ang muling pagkabuhay ng Panginoon sa kabila ng mga pagsubok na dumadating sa buhay ng bawat isa.
“This year, as we are again presented with the chance to deeply contemplate the impact of Christ’s passion and death, it is inevitable that our thoughts wil gravitate to the events and challenges of recent years. Lest we end up defeated by the troubles of this world, it is imperative that we direct our thoughts and our actions more to the resurrection of the Lord and the victory that this gives us to this very day,” ani Marcos.
“Indeed, while it may be difficult to comprehend, the message of salvation and eternal life remains as timely as ever.”
“With the hope for a brighter future by the grace of God, I wish everyone a meaningful celebration,” saad pa niya.
Kamakailan ay binanggit ni Marcos na katulad ng kaniyang ginagawa taun-taon, plano niyang magpahinga sa Semana Santa kasama ang kaniyang pamilya.
