Naglabas ng mensahe si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos sa komemorasyon ngayong araw, Pebrero 25, ng ika-37 anibersaryo ng EDSA People Power Revolution kung kailan napatalsik sa puwesto ng pagkapangulo ang kaniyang amang si dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Sr..
Sa kaniyang mensahe na inulat ng PNA, ipinaalala ni Marcos ang halaga ng kapayapaan at pagkakaisa sa kabila ng pagkakaiba-iba ng pananaw ng mga Pilipino sa pulitika.

“As we look back at this fateful moment in our country’s history, we remind ourselves that despite the polarizing and divisive nature in our politics, it is our capacity for peace, unity, and reconciliation that made us great and worthy of global acclaim as a people,” ani Marcos.
“To obtain our aspirations moving forward, we must compose ourselves and appropriate our actions towards settling our differences and identifying collaborative ways to nurture our society. By accepting our diversity, we deepen our interpersonal relationships and discover how to make things work better for all,” dagdag niya.
Umaasa rin daw si Marcos na isasapuso ng mga Pilipino ang demokrasya sa pamamagitan ng pagsasaalang-alang sa pagmamahal sa kapwa.
“I hope that we will always take to heart that democracy is only truly possible when we resign from our individualism for the sake of the common good and embrace our infinite love for humanity. Let us keep in mind that the world matures and ages of fortitude when people are free to speak their minds and challenge the realities that shake their convictions and beliefs,” anang pangulo.
“If we truly stand for democracy, let us face the future by making our sense of community and patriotism the defining cornerstones of our society and the overarching goals of all our efforts in nation-building,” dagdag niya.

Taong 1986 ng Pebrero 25 nang magmartsa ang libo-libong mga Pilipino sa EDSA at tagumpay na napatalsik sa Malacañang si dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at pamilya nito. Pinalitan naman si Marcos ni dating Pangulong Corazon Aquino na sumumpa naman noong araw ding iyon.
