Nananatili pa ring low risk sa coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) ang National Capital Region (NCR).

Ito ang tiniyak ng Department of Health (DOH) nitong Huwebes, batay na rin sa monitoring ng kanilang Epidemiology Bureau.

Idinahilan ng ahensya, bago iklasipikaang isang lugar sa ilalim ng moderate risk, dapat na mayroon itong positive two-week growth rate (TWGR) at average daily attack rate (ADAR) na nasa 6 average cases per day per 100,000 population.

“From the perspective of healthcare utilization rate (HCUR), there should also be moderate risk HCUR for escalation to Alert Level 2 to happen.As of June 15, 2022 while NCR shows positive TWGR, its ADAR is still below 6 at less than 1 case per 100k population. NCR would require at least 818 cases daily for two weeks to reach an ADAR of 6 cases per 100k population,” pahayag ng ahensya.

Anito pa, ang HCUR sa NCR ay nananatili pa ring nasa low risk.

“What is important is the number of severe and critical hospital admissions. So long as these numbers remain low, we will stay at the current alert level while carefully monitoring the situation,” ayon pa sa DOH.
