Ikinulong ng mga kapwa pulis ang tatlong miyembro ng Drug Enforcement Team ng Tanay Municipal Police matapos arestuhin sa reklamong pangingikil umano sa inarestong drug suspect sa Rizal kamakailan.
Magkakasama sa selda sina Police Master Sgt. Darlino Casamayor Jr.; Police Corporal William Sayago; at Patrolman Allen Bey Tendilla.
Paliwanag naman ni Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Gen. Dionardo Carlos, isinagawa ang pag-aresto batay na rin sa reklamo ni Aljon Marcelino Indon, 31, na naunang naaresto sa kasong may kinalaman sa iligal na droga nitong Marso 17.
Sa salaysay ni Indon, hiningi umano sa kanya ng tatlong pulis ang laman ng kanyang pitaka na aabot sa ₱93,000.

“At this juncture, the suspects allegedly made an arrangement with Indon and due to fear of being charged for violation of RA 9165, he opted to give the money in exchange for his freedom. Indon, however, requested for a small amount of the said money where the suspects, after giving him P23,000, released him,” ayon kay Carlos.
Matapos pakawalan, agad na humingi ng tulong si Indon sa Tanay Municipal Police Station na nagsagawa ng operasyon na ikinaareto ng tatlong pulis.
Narekober sa mga suspek ang ₱49,000 cash.
“The PNP does not tolerate and condemn any member of the organization who transgresses the law and gets involved in illegal activities. We will see to it that all errant police personnel will be sanctioned accordingly and shall face dismissal from police service after accorded them with due process,” pagbibigay-diin pa ni Carlos.
