SI Jessie Gonzales, age 16 and from Hongkong ang siyang pinaka-newest four-chair turner ng The Voice Teens 2 nito lang nakaraang Sabado night, March 7, 2020 to be exact.
Jessie was praised mainly for how effortlessly fun she made her performance and rendition of Titibo-Tibo cover song kung kaya ang apat na coaches, Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo at Apl de Ap fought over para maging member ng team nila si Jessie.
Dahil nga itong si Jessie Gonzales, being a four-chair turner ay nagkaroon ng option to join all the teams except for Bamboo.
But the rock star Bamboo was blocked by Sarah Geronimo (or shall we say, Mrs. Matteo Guidecelli now?) na bagong rule or new feature sa The Voice Teens 2 edition.
Pero mas pinili nitong si Jessie si Apl de Ap para mapasama sa team nito despite the best efforts of Lea at Sarah na magetz at makumbinsi nila ang nasabing teener na mapasali sa kani-kanilang team.
“You can tell the story [of the song] with so much joy and make it yours,” Salonga told Gonzales.
Geronimo added: “I will push you harder to achieve kung ano pa iyong gusto mong ma-achieve as an artist.”
Pero yon nga, si Apl de Ap ang mas pinili ni Jessie.
Niwey, Gonzales, who was born and raised in Hong Kong, is also a cousin of Zephanie Dimaranan, the winner of Idol Philippines.
