HUMANGA si world champion Rubilen “Bingkay” Amit sa angking talento ng mga kabataang lumahok sa nagbukas na J & P 10 Ball Cup 2019 nitong Huwebes sa Superbowl 3rd level, Makati Cinema Square sa Makati City.
Ayon kay Billiards Sports Confederation of the Philippines (BSCP) secretary-general Jesse Gonzales Cambosa Sr. na siya ding top honcho ng DMC Entertainment Production Management na nagdaos ng four-day event (Nov. 7, 8 9, and 10) katuwang si long-time billiards patron sportsman/businessman Aristeo “Putch” Puyat.
“She was impressed by our youth pool players’ enthusiasm and love for billiards. She finds our youth players very strong,” pahayag ni Amit ayon kay Puyat.
Bagama’t subsod ang oras sa pagsasanay para sa Southeast Asian Games, lumabas at nagbigay ng suporta sina Amit, Efren “Bata” Reyes, Francisco “Django” Bustamante, Carlo Biado, Johann Chua, Jeffrey Ignacio, Irish Rañola, Flordeliza Andal, national coach Rodolfo “Boy Samson” Luat at PHISGOC billiards tournament manager Joey Marquez para pasinayan ang P318,000 total pot prize 10-ball tournament kung saan ang magkakampeon ay tatangap ng P50,000.
Ang mga youth participants ay sina James Lim (20 yrs. old), Bernie Regalario (14), Earl Vincent “Vicoy” Trinidad (14), Elija Benedict De Mesa (14) at youngest entry Albert James Manas (12).
Ating magugunita na si Trinidad ay nagwagi kay fellow Junior player Manas, 7-2, sa finals para magkampeon sa 2019 J&P Navigator Japan 9-Ball Cup Championships na ginanap sa nasabing venue nitong Mayo.
Habang ang defending champion (J & P 10 Ball Cup 2019) naman dito ay si Anthony Capco.
