TULOY ang pinaka-aabangan na 2nd Torrevillas Knights Cup Open Rapid at Kiddies chess tournament sa Agosto 21 sa Samar College sa Catbalogan City, Samar.

Ang one-day tournament ay isinagawa kaalinsabay ng celebration ng Feast of Saint Bartholomew 2019, suportado ng Torrevillas Knights sa pakikipagtulungan ng Catbalogan City Chess Club at ng Hermano Mayor of the Feast of Saint Bartholomew 2019.

Ayon kay tournament manager Atty. Manuelindo Josef A. Torrevillas, ang one-day National Chess Federation of the Philippines ay sanctioned tournament at ipapatupad ang eight hanggang nine round Swiss System format na may 20 minutes plus 5 seconds delay.

Nakalaan sa magkakampeon ang P50,000 plus trophy, ang second placer ay magbubulsa ng P30,000 plus trophy, ang third placer ay magsusubi ng P20,000 plus trophy habang ang fourth hanggang eight ay tatangap ng tig P15,000, P12,000, P8,000, P6,000 at P5,000, ayon sa pagkakasunod plus medals at ang ninth hanggang tenth ay tigP3,000 plus medals.
