“So far we don’t have any information on their location but we are awaiting for any specific guidance if there is a need for them to be re-arrested base on the order of, the order of our courts,” sabi ni Arevalo.

Nilinaw din ni Arevalo na hindi porke pormal nang tinapos ng pamahalaan ang pakikipag-usap sa Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP/NPA/NDF) ay “automatic” na nilang aarestuhing muli ang mga NDF consultant.

“When you say automatic it means the cancellation of JASIG or the Joint Agreement on Safety and Immunity Guarantees. What’s being talk about that is automatic there is that there’s no longer the need for a formal notice to the other party that peace negotiations is already terminated. The presidential proclamation 360 is enough as a signal for them to take heed or take cue that formal peace talks has already ended,” ani Arevalo.

“We are going to await any further instruction if they will be re-arrested but our monitoring on possibly where they are is there,” dagdag niya.
