Kinumpirma kahapon ni acting Southern Police District (SPD) Director, Senior Supt. Tomas Apolinario Jr. ang pagkakasibak sa puwesto ng anim na commander ng Police Community Precinct (PCP) ng Makati City Police dahil sa hindi magandang performance sa pinaigting na “Oplan Double Barrel” kaugnay sa kampanya kontra ilegal na droga at kriminalidad.
Kabilang sa mga sinibak sa puwesto sina Chief Insp. Rody Tallud ng PCP 1-Barangay Olympia, Senior Insp. Bernando Bacalso ng PCP 3-Bgy. San Isidro, Chief Insp. Noel De Ocampo ng PCP 7-Bgy. Guadalupe Nuevo, Chief Insp. Rolito Pelayo ng PCP 8-Bgy. West Rembo, Chief Insp. Rommel Ressurecion ng PCP 9-Bgy Pembo, at Chief Insp. Armando Yu ng PCP 10-Bgy Rizal.
Tinanggal din ang deputy commanders na sina Senior Insps. Valmark Funelas (PCP-7) at Angelbert Alan (PCP-5).
“They failed to perform well based on the assessment of their performance. They should have suppress by 50 percent crime and illegal drugs in their areas of jurisdiction,” paliwanag ni Makati Police chief, Senior Supt. Rommil Mitra. (Bella Gamotea)
