Sa pagtutulungan ng Astro at Globe Telecoms, isasagawa ang TM Football Para sa Bayan football clinics simula sa Hulyo 23, sa Iloilo City.

Kabuuang 12 kabataan na nasa edad na 10-12 ang pipiliin mula sa football clinics na isasagawa sa Iloilo, Talisay sa Negros Occidental, Davao, at Manila.

“The Astro Kem Bola programme aims to provide a comprehensive learning and football development experience. Through it, we have seen talented kids grown into well-rounded athletes playing in the Malaysian national youth team and eventually on an international plafform,” pahayag ni Datuk David Michael Yap, vice-president of community-affair ng Astro, sa opisyal na mensaheng ipinarating sa local organizer.

“We are so proud that Astro has chosen our project TM Football Para sa Bayan as a venue to discover talented kids who would be given an opportunity to further harness their passion for sports of football and bring them closer to their dreams,” sambit ni Globe Director for Citizenship Fernando “Bong” Esguerra , nanguna sa isinagawang media launching nitong Huwebes kasama ang tournament director na si Hans Peter Smit ng One Archers United Football Club at dating Azkals member Chieffy Calindog.

Isasagawa ang unang clinic sa Iloilo sa Hulyo 23, sunod sa Talisay sa Negros Occidental sa Hulyo 24, ikatlo sa Davao sa Agosto 13 at panghuli sa Agosto 30 sa De La Salle-Zobel sa Ayala, Alabang.

“Through our sports advocacy, we hope to forge similar partnerships with other like-minded organizations to help uplift the lives of the youth especially those from the marginalized sector and provide them with a platform to showcase their talents and follow their dream of a better life through football,” sambit ni Esguerra.
