Isang gamot para sa nutritional anemia at loss of appetite ang ipinababalik dahil sa maling active ingredient.
Sa isang advisory, sinabi ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) na boluntaryong ipinababalik ng Dann’s Aid Laboratories ang kanilang produkto na Ferrous Sulfate (as heptahydrate) 2mg/mL solution, sa ilalim ng brand name na La Rosa Vino de Quina na may lot number 130205.
“The Product lot was found to contain Thiamine Hydrochloride as its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) whereas the approved API in its Certificate of Products Registration (CPR) is Ferrous Sulfate (as heptahydrate),”saad sa FDA advisory.
Sinabi ng FDA na “the affected products lot presents safety risk and potential health consequences.”

Pinapayuhan nito ang mga distributor, retailer, ospital, pharmacy o mga klinikana na mayroong affected lot na ihinto na ang pamamahagi, pagbebenta at paggamit nito.
