Seryoso ang pagtugon ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) sa mga alegasyon ng iregularidad sa mga "reserve promotions and decorations," batay sa inilabas nilang opisyal na pahayag.

Sa inilabas na official statement ng PAF nitong Miyerkules, Agosto 19, 2026, sinabi nitong isinasagawa na ng Reserve Command, Philippine Air Force (RESCOM, PAF) ang masusing imbestigasyon at pagsusuri sa mga rekord ng mga apektadong personnel, mga kautusan at mga promotion board.

Ayon sa PAF, mahalagang mapanatili ang transparency, mahigpit na pagsunod sa mga patakaran at meritocracy sa parehong active at reserve components nito.

Ang pahayag ay kasunod ng mga kontrobersiyang bumalot sa mga dekorasyon, badge at promosyon ng ilang reservists.

Nilinaw ng PAF na hindi nito binabalewala ang mga kontribusyon ng citizen-volunteers na nagsisilbi bilang bahagi ng reserve force.

This process is being undertaken alongside reviews conducted in coordination with the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The PAF deeply values the indispensable contributions of our dedicated citizen-volunteers who serve as a vital pillar of our national airpower and defense capability. Any verified irregularities or policy violations resulting from this investigation will be dealt with decisively under existing rules and regulations to preserve the credibility and standards of the Air Force Reserve Service.
