Iniulat ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) na umabot na sa 80.11 meters ang lebel ng tubig sa La Mesa Dam as of 11:00 ng umaga ngayong Lunes, Agosto 10.
Ayon sa PAGASA, bahagya na lamang itong mas mababa kung ikukumpara sa 80.15 meters na spilling level ng nasabing dam.
“The water level of LA MESA Dam as of 11:00 AM is 80.11m, still BELOW OVERFLOW SPILLING LEVEL. Excess floodwaters in the LA MESA DAM will overflow in the event that the dam’s water level reaches 80.15m,” saad ng PAGASA sa kanilang Hydrological Dam Situationer #1.
Paalala ng ahensya, ang sobrang tubig ng dam ay maaaring makaapekto sa low-lying areas sa Tullahan River.
“Waters from LA MESA DAM are expected to affect the low-lying areas along the Tullahan River from Quezon City (Fairview, Forest Hills Subd., Quirino Highway, Sta. Quiteria, and San Bartolome), Caloocan City, Valenzuela (North Expressway, La Huerta Subd.), Malabon and Navotas,” anang ahensya.

“All residents living in the aformentioned areas, especially those near the river banks, are ADVISED TO BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS,” paalala pa nila.
“PAGASA shall continue to monitor the hydrological condition of LA MESA Dam and provide updates to the concerned agencies and LGUs,” pagtatapos ng PAGASA.
