Naglabas ng pahayag si Senador Risa Hontiveros kaugnay sa hiling ng United States na extradition laban kay Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Apollo Quiboloy.
Nitong Huwebes, Agosto 6, hiniling ng pamahalaan ng US ang extradition ni Quiboloy upang harapin ang mga kasong isinampa laban sa kaniya sa naturang bansa, kabilang ang child sex trafficking, bulk cash smuggling, at iba pang paglabag sa batas.
"It’s about time for Apollo Quiboloy to be extradited to the United States of America," saad ni Hontiveros sa isang pahayag nito ring Huwebes.
"He trafficked women and girls from around the world. Justice demands that he answer for these crimes in the very places he committed them," dagdag pa niya. "As Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality, which heard the heartbreaking testimonies of the women Quiboloy preyed upon, I am relieved that not one but two jurisdictions want to hold him to account for his crimes against women and girls."
Giit pa ng senador, wala umanong dapat matira ni katiting na impluwensya si Quiboloy dito sa Pilipinas, at aniya dapat nang kumilos ang Department of Justice kaugnay sa hiling ng US.

"Wala na siyang dapat matirang kahit katiting na impluwensya dito sa Pilipinas. His continued presence in this country still emboldens his followers to harass the very survivors who found the courage to speak against him," ani Hontiveros.
Dagdag pa niya, "The Department of Justice must act with dispatch to clear the road toward extradition. Panahon na para papanatagin ang buhay ng mga biktima."
