Nasamsam ng Coast Guard District Palawan nitong umaga ng Miyerkules, Hulyo 1, ang isang suspected rocket debris sa baybayin ng Sitio Taburon, Barangay Balading, Bisucay Island, Cuyo, Palawan.
Ayon sa kanilang ulat, sila ay nakatanggap ng impormasyon bandang 6:46 ng umaga na mayroong hinihinalang rocket debris sa nabanggit na baybayin.
Dahil dito, agad na rumesponde ang mga awtoridad upang maimbestigahan ang nasabing debris.
“A technical assessment and validation will be conducted by the Maritime Security and Law Enforcement Group Palawan (MARSLEG-PAL) to determine the identity and origin of the recovered object,” saad ng Coast Guard District Palawan.
Tiniyak naman nila ang publiko na sila ay magpapaabot ng update kung sakaling magkaroon sila ng bagong impormasyon kaugnay sa nasabat na umano’y rocket debris.

“The Philippine Coast Guard assures the public that appropriate safety measures are in place while the investigation is ongoing,” anila.
