Rodante Marcoleta.
“An old video of mine, originally uploaded on September 20, 2025, is now being circulated as though it were a statement about current events. It is not,” tahasang paglalahad ni GM Torre.
Aniya, “That video was recorded on the eve of the September 21, 2025 demonstrations, during a completely different political situation. Removing that context changes its meaning and creates a false narrative.”
“I welcome honest disagreement. Democracy depends on the free exchange of ideas. But it also depends on something equally important: presenting facts completely and truthfully,” dagdag pa niya.
“For everyone who wants to judge fairly, I have pinned the original, unedited September 20, 2025 upload in the first comment,” anang MMDA general manager.
“I encourage everyone to watch it in its entirety and decide based on the complete context—not on recycled clips or selective editing,” dagdag pa niya.
“Truth deserves context. And our public discourse deserves honesty,” pagtatapos ni GM Torre.
