Inanunsyo ng Aspin Academy Corp. ang nakatakdang pagsasara ng kanilang shelter dahil sa tuloy-tuloy na kakulangan ng suplay ng tubig sa kanila.
Sa Facebook post na ibinahagi ng nasabing shelter noong Hunyo 10, 2026, iginiit nilang taong 2024 pa nila nararanasan ang hindi sapat na suplay ng tubig para sa kailangan nila sa shelter.
"With a heavy heart, we are announcing that we have decided to shut down our shelter facility in Tayabas," anang Aspin Academy Corp.
Saad pa nila, "For years, one of our biggest struggles has been access to a reliable water source. Since 2024, we have been trying to raise funds to build a deep well that would provide a long-term solution for our rescued dogs."
Bagama't sinubukan nilang gumawa ng paraan para sa konstruksyon ng balon, hindi pa raw umabot sa 5% ng budget na kailangan ang kanilang nakalap at naipon.

"Despite our repeated efforts and appeals, we have never reached even 5% of the amount needed. If anyone of you will say to ask help from LGU, just so you know we did MANY TIMES but to no avail," anila.
Bagama't nakatakda nang magsara, muling nangangalampag ng tulong ang nasabing dog shelter para naman sa mga kakailanganin ng mga rescued dog na nasa ilalim pa rin ng kanilang pangangalaga.
"While we prepare for the closure of our facility, our dogs still need your help. They still need food in their bowls, medicines when they are sick, and daily care while they wait for the families they deserve," saad nila.
Paliwanag pa nila, "If you cannot adopt, please consider making a donation. Every peso can help us continue providing for them during this transition.
We are also urgently looking for volunteers who can help us care for the dogs and assist in finding them homes."
