Umabot sa 2.41 milyon na mga Pilipino ang walang trabaho noong Abril 2026, batay sa datos na inilabas ng Philippine Statistics Authority nitong Martes, Hunyo 9.
Ayon sa PSA, katumbas ito ng 4.7% unemployment rate sa naturang buwan.
Mas mataas ito kung ikukumpara sa 4.1% noong Abril 2025, na katumbas ng 2.06 milyong Pinoy na walang trabaho.
Samantala, naitala naman ng PSA ang 95.3% employment rate noong Abril 2026, mas mababa sa 95.9% noong Abril 2025.
Katumbas ito ng 48.89 milyong Pilipino na may trabaho noong Abril nitong taon, kumpara sa 48.67 milyon noong Abril sa nagdaang taon.

“The Services sector made up the highest employment with a share of 62.3 percent of the total employed persons in April 2026. The Industry and Agriculture sectors accounted for 18.3 percent and 19.4 percent of the total number of employed persons, respectively,” saad ng PSA.
“By sub-sector, the top three with the highest employment were Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles (19.8%), Agriculture and Forestry (16.8%), and Construction (9.8%),” dagdag pa nila.
