Inanunsyo ng Manila Police District (MPD) ang isang traffic advisory para sa mga kalye sa Maynila kasabay ang paggunita ng Araw ng Kalayaan sa darating na Biyernes, Hunyo 12, 2026.
Ayon sa ulat ng MPD noong Sabado, Hunyo 6, na mababasa sa kanilang Facebook post, magsisimula sa 2:00 ng madaling araw ang naturang traffic advisory.
Narito ang mga kalyeng apektado ng naturang abiso:
ROAD CLOSURES
- Stretch of Katigbak Drive, Independence Road, and South Road
- Both bounds of Bonifacio Drive from Anda Circle to P. Burgos Ave.
Focus crime rate sa Metro Manila, bumaba ng halos 13%—NCRPO
- Both bounds of Roxas Blvd. from P. Burgos Ave. to Quirino Ave. and Roxas Blvd. Service Road both bounds from Kalaw Ave. to U.N. Ave.
- Westbound lane of T.M. Kalaw Ave. from Roxas Blvd. to Taft Ave. and Eastbound lane of T.M. Kalaw Ave.from Roxas Blvd. to Mabini St.
- Westbound of P. Burgos Ave. from Roxas Blvd. to Victoria St.
- Westbound of Finance Road from Ma. Orosa St. to Taft Ave.
- Southbound of Ma. Orosa from P. Burgos to TM. Kalaw
RE-ROUTING
- All vehicles coming from the three bridges (Jones, Mc Arthur, Quezon) shall use Taft Avenue to point of destination
- All vehicles coming from the Northbound lane of Roxas Blvd. Service Road shall turn right to U.N. Ave. to point of destination
- All vehicles coming from A. Mabini St. shall turn right to TM Kalaw to point of destination
- All vehicles coming from U.N. Ave. may turn right to Maria Orosa to point of destination or turn left to J. Bocobo to point of destination
- All vehicles coming from R-10 shall take Anda Circle then turn right to Soriano Ave., turn right to Solana St., turn left to Muralla St. straight to Magallanes Drive to point of destination
- All trailer trucks/heavy vehicles travelling northbound on Osmeña Highway going to Mel Lopez Blvd. (Pier Area) shall turn right to Pres. Quirino Ave., to Mabini Bridge to point of destination (old Truck Route)
- All trailer trucks/heavy vehicles travelling southbound of Mel Lopez Blvd. (R-10) going to Roxas Blvd. shall turn left to Capulong St., straight to Yuseco St. to Lacson Ave. to the point of destination (old truck route)
“Closing and opening of affected roads and other roads will be based on actual traffic situation, and old truck route will be utilized during the event,” saad pa ng MPD.
