Binigyang-pagkilala ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang mga manggagawang Pilipino bilang pakikiisa sa selebrasyon ng Labor Day ngayong Biyernes, Mayo 1.
“Today, we honor every member of our workforce whose hands carry the weight of our shared future–whether at sunrise, beneath the noonday heat, or in the long hours when the nation sleeps,” saad ni PBBM sa kaniyang mensahe.
Aniya pa, sa kabila ng pag-usad ng teknolohiya at mga industriya sa bansa, ang mga manggagawang Pinoy ang nananatiling susi sa pag-unlad ng bansa.
Kaya sa kanilang pagsasakripisyo at determinasyon, itinuturing ni PBBM na sandigan ng republika ang mga ito.
“Even as technology advances and industries transform, one truth endures; it is the Filipino worker who drives the Philippines forward and keeps the world in motion,” saad ng Pangulo.

“Through your grit and sacrifice, families find stability, and the country finds strength. You are, and will always be, the backbone of our Republic,” dagdag pa niya.
Kaya bukod sa pagiging selebrasyon, naniniwala si PBBM na ang Labor Day ay nagpapatibay sa layon ng pamahalaan at pampribadong sektor na bumuo ng bansang nagbibigay gantimpala sa pagpapagal at nagbubukas ng mga oportunidad.
“Thus, this day must be more than an observance. It must reaffirm the commitment of both the government and the private sector to build a country where hard work is rewarded and opportunity is real,” saad ni PBBM.
Kaya hinihikayat niya ang bawat Pinoy na bumuo ng lipunang nagbibigay respeto sa tapat na pagtatrabaho, nagpoprotekta sa mga pangkabuhayan, at nagtitiyak na ang pag-unlad ay posible para sa lahat ng pamilya.
“Together, let us fulfill this promise by fostering an environment that respects honest labor, safeguards livelihoods, and ensures that progress is accessible to ordinary families,” panawagan ng Pangulo.
Sa kasagsagan din ng kinahaharap na krisis ng bansa, tiniyak ni PBBM na naninindigan ang kaniyang administrasyong patuloy nilang pinoprotektahan ang dignidad ng bawat Pinoy sa pamamagitan ng pagbubukas ng mga oportunidad ng trabaho at pag-unlad at pagpapaigting ng karapatan para sa mga manggagawa.
“As we face changing economic pressures, rest assured that this administration stands firm in defending the dignity of every Filipino by creating more and better jobs, boosting worker protection, and broadening pathways for all to succeed,” pagtitiyak ni PBBM.
“With you at the heart of our agenda, a stronger, more equitable, and more hopeful Bagong Pilipinas is well within reach,” dagdag pa niya.
