Kumpiyansa si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na magkakaroon ng “flow of oil” sa Pilipinas matapos lumipas ang 45 araw.
Matatandaang inanunsyo ni Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Sharon Garin noong Martes, Marso 24 sa isang press conference, na ang average supply ng bansa pagdating sa produktong petrolyo ay aabot na lamang sa 45 na araw.

Sa isinagawang presidential report ni PBBM nitong Miyerkules, Marso 25, ipinagdiinan niyang sila ay hindi tumitigil upang magkaroon ng sapat na suplay ng langis ang bansa.
“It would be premature to say that we have perfected contracts with them, but I think it’s sufficient to say that things are beginning to open up. Although we cannot be assured right now of the supply, we can be sure that at least for 45 days we will be alright,” saad ni PBBM.
Aniya, “I think that we can be fairly confident…we can be confident that after the 45 days, we will still have already [oil supply] arrived here in the Philippines. We will have already a flow of oil—not just one delivery, not just two deliveries, but a flow of petroleum and petroleum-related products.”
“We are continuing to do this; we will not stop. We will not stop this process, so that we will ensure the supply of petroleum and petroleum products to the Philippines,” dagdag pa niya.
Hinggil naman sa pagtaas ng presyo ng langis, inamin ni PBBM na ito ay mahirap na sagutin at gawaan ng paraan sapagkat aniya, wala silang kontrol patungkol dito.
“Oil will do what it will do. The markets will behave in the way that they behave. No one, not even the producers…not even the producers have control over the world price of oil,” anang Pangulo.
Giit niya, “All that we can do is to compensate our people, and to support our people so that they have some assistance in the face of this.”
Sa parehong presidential report, isiniwalat niya ring minanduhan niya na ang DOE na huwag lumubay sa paghahanap ng maaaring pagkuhaan ng suplay ng produktong petrolyo.
“Ang instruction ko sa kanila, ‘huwag n’yong titigilan, maghanap kayo pa ng suplay dahil hindi natin alam kung gaano katagal pa ito,’” saad ni PBBM.
