Nailigtas ng mga miyembro ng Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) ang isang lalaking “in distress,” sa isang roof deck ng 22-storey building, sa kahabaan ng 20th Avenue, corner Aurora Blvd. Barangay San Roque, Quezon City.
Ayon sa ulat ng BFP noong Linggo, Marso 15, na-rescue nila ang lalaki matapos matanggap ang isang ulat ng umano’y “suicidal attempt.”
“Demonstrating the BFP core value of TANGERINE—a swift and decisive response in times of emergency, the team acted with urgency, patience, and professionalism. Through calm negotiation and coordinated rescue efforts, the distressed individual was successfully secured and brought to safety,” saad ng BFP.
Anila, patuloy daw ang kanilang pagsuporta sa mga taong humaharap sa “emotional” at “psychological distress.”
“Beyond emergency response, the Bureau of Fire Protection also continues to support individuals experiencing emotional and psychological distress through the Kalingang Bumbero — a 24/7 mental health crisis hotline that provides immediate psychological support and intervention for those in need,” anila.
Pagtitiyak ng BFP, handa ang kanilang ahensya na sumaklolo sa mga ganitong uri ng emergency.
