Opisyal nang nagsampa ng kaso si Miss Grand International (MGI) president Nawat Itsaragrisil kay Miss Universe 2025, Fatima Bosch Fernandez, sa umano’y mga naging maling paratang nito kamakailan.
Base sa pahayag ng Miss Universe Thailand sa kanilang social media noong Miyerkules, Disyembre 3, isinampa na ni Itsaragrisil kay Fernandez ang kaso noon pang Nobyembre 12, laban sa mga umano’y paninira nito.
“Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil has formally filed a criminal complaint against Ms. Fatima Bosch Fernandez in Thailand on 12 November 2025. If any further defamatory actions are discovered, additional legal action will be taken to the fullest extent of the law,” saad ng Miss Universe Thailand sa kanilang social media.
Binanggit din sa pahayag na hindi raw tinawag ni Itsaragrisil na “dumbhead” ang pageant queen, na salungat sa mga naiulat online, matapos ang naging alitan nila noong Nobyembre 4, sa pageant orientation.

“We wish to reaffirm that Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil never called Ms. Fatima Bosch a “dumbhead.” What he said was “damage,” which is clearly audible in the voice recordings that have already been widely circulated across various platforms,” saad sa pahayag.
“However, when Ms. Fatima Bosch Fernandez walked out of the room, she immediately made a false accusation in front of the media by publicly claiming otherwise. Even after she later became aware of the facts, she did not apologize to Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil. Instead, she continued to falsely accuse him in multiple interviews, seemingly for personal gain and to justify herself throughout the competition—after which she was ultimately crowned Miss Universe, as everyone is aware,” diretsahang patutsada pa ng organisasyon sa beauty queen.
Matatandaang sa nasabing orientation ng pageant, sinabahin ni nag-walkout si Fernandez sa kasagsagan ng pageant orientation matapos siyang umano’y pagtaasan ng boses ni Itsaragrisil dahil sa umano’y hindi pagsunod sa promotional guidelines ng Miss Universe Organization (MOU).
Sa nag-viral na video, makikita na kasama rin sa nag-walkout ang ilan pang mga kandidata bilang pakikiisa sa pageant queen.
“You know that as a country, you have all my respect. I truly love Thailand. I respect all of you. I think that you’re amazing people, but just what your director did, it’s not respectful,” saad ni Fernandez sa media.
“He called me ‘dumb’ because he had problems with the organization. And I think that’s not fair because I’m here and I do everything, okay? I don’t mess with anyone, I just try to be kind. I’m trying to give my best and he just shot me. And he said to me, shut up and a lot of different things. And I think that the world needs to see this because we are empowered women and this is a platform for our voice. And no one can shut our voice, and no one will do that to me,” aniya pa.
Sa kaugnay na balita, nasungkit ni Fernandez ang korona sa Miss Universe pageant noong Nobyembre 2025.
Second runner-up dito ay ang Venezuela, third runner-up ang Pilipinas, at fourth runner-up naman ang Cote d’ Ivoire.
