Nanindigan ang Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) sa pagpapanatili ng Ethics sa college curriculum.
Sa pahayag ng CEAP nitong Biyernes, Hunyo 6, sinabi nilang hindi opsyonal kundi esensyal na bahagi ng kurikulum sa kolehiyo ang Ethics.
“The Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines is resolute in its stand that Ethics should remain an essential part of the college curriculum because it forms the moral and spiritual foundation of holistic education,” saad ng CEAP.
“While basic education may introduce ethical principles, the complexity of moral dilemmas that students face in adulthood, particularly in professional and societal contexts, requires a deeper, more critical engagement with ethical frameworks,” pagpapatuloy nila.

Dagdag pa ng asosasyon, formative stage umano ang kolehiyo para sa mga kabataan kung saan nililinang ang kanilang halaga at mga desisyong makakapagpabago sa kanilang buhay.
Kaya ang pagtatangkang alisin ang Ethics sa college curriculum ay pag-agaw sa mahalagang oportunidad ng mga kabataan na iangkla ang kanilang mga pagpiling nakabatay sa katwirang moral at halaga ng ebanghelyo.
“In educational institutions, where the goal is not just to inform but to transform: Ethics is not optional-it is essential,” pahabol pa ng CEAP.
Matatandaang bukod sa Ethics ay binabalak ding alisin ang Contemporary World at Art Appreciation sa college curriculum dahil itinuturo na raw ang mga ito sa high school.
