Iba ang lumabas sa opisyal na pahayag ng Miss Grand International patungkol sa pagbibitiw ni Miss Grand International 2024 Rachel Gupta ng India, batay sa inilabas naman niyang paliwanag sa Instagram post.
Ipinaliwanag ni Gupta sa kaniyang opisyal na pahayag na kusa siyang nagbitiw sa kaniyang tungkulin, dahil sa ilang mga isyu.
"To all my supporters around the world: I’m truly sorry if this news has disappointed you. Please know this wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one for me," mababasa sa Instagram post ni Gupta.

Kalakip ng kaniyang post ang isang art card na naglalaman ng kaniyang opisyal na pahayag, na tila makahulugan at masasabing may hindi magandang karanasan si Gupta habang hawak niya ang titulo at nakaputong sa kaniya ang korona.
"However, the months following my crowning have been marked by broken promises, mistreatment, and a toxic environment I can no longer endure in silence," bahagi ng opisyal na pahayag ni Gupta.
Hindi raw madali ang kaniyang ginawa subalit ipinangako ni Gupta na maglalabas siya ng statement patungkol dito sa pamamagitan ng isang video.
Hiling ni Gupta na bigyan siya ng compassion ng mga tao at patuloy pa rin siyang suportahan.

Pero iba naman ang mababasa sa opisyal na pahayag ng MGI.
Kung babasahin, "termination" ang nangyari kay Gupta at hindi dahil sa pagbibitiw nito.
Ang rason daw: hindi nito na-fulfill ang "assigned duties" sa kaniya.
"The Miss Grand International Organization hereby announces the termination of Miss Rachel Gupta’s title as Miss Grand International 2024, effective immediately."
"This decision follows her failure to fulfill her assigned duties, engagement in external projects without prior approval from the organization, and her refusal to participate in the scheduled trip to Guatemala."
"As a result, the organization has resolved to revoke her title with immediate effect. Miss Rachel Gupta is no longer authorized to use the title or wear the crown associated with Miss Grand International 2024."
"We request that the crown be returned to the MGI Head Office within 30 days from the date of this notice," anila pa.
