Ibinasura ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) First Division ang nakabinbin na disqualification case laban sa nanalong Bagong Henerasyon Partylist. 

Matatandaang nag-ugat ang disqualification case laban sa BH dahil sa umano'y partisan political activity ng mga nominee nito.

Ayon sa Comelec 1st Division, lumilitaw na hindi umano nagbigay ang petisyuner na si Atty. Russel Stanley Geronimo ng kopya ng petisyon sa mga respondent ng BH. 

"Upon scrutiny of the submitted Petition and its attachments, it appears that the Petitioner allegedly furnished the Respondents their respective copies of the Petition via registered mail," saad ng Comelec 1st Division sa three-page order na may petsang Mayo 22.

Dagdag pa ng Comelec, bigo rin ang petisyuner na mai-attach ang kopya ng Certificate of Nomination-Certificate of Acceptance of Nomination (CON-CAN) ng naturang partylist. 

"Settled is the rule that failure to comply with a mandatory requirement warrants the dismissal of the petition. In view of the foregoing, the Commission (First Division) hereby resolves to dismiss the instant petition," ayon pa sa Komisyon. 

Samantala, naka-hold pa rin ang proklamasyon ng BH dahil maaari pang maghain ng motion for reconsideration si Geronimo. 

Matatandaang naudlot ang proklamasyon ng BH sa nagdaang 2025 midterm elections.
