Nanindigan si Majority Leader at Tingog Party-list Representative Jude Acidre na hindi raw nakaapekto sa eleksyon ang pagpirma ng mga Kongresista sa impeachment laban kay Vice president Sara Duterte.
Ayon sa pahayag ni Acidre noong Linggo, Mayo 18, 202, pinabulaanan niyang isa umanong "political liability" ang naturang impeachment para sa kandidatura ng tinatayang 100 Kongresistang muling magbabalik sa Kamara.
"Just to set the record straight, these results dismantle the narrative that the impeachment was a political liability. What we're seeing is a public that values courage over complicity. The people have drawn the line," saad ni Acidre.
Matatandaang 215 mga Kongresista ang pumirma sa impeachment laban kay VP Sara, dahilan upang tuluyang ma-impeach si VP Sara sa House of Representatives.

Ayon pa kay Acidre ang ilan pang 100 mga mambabatas na hindi na kakabalik sa paparating na 20th Congress ay pawang mga natapos na ang termino at kumandidato na raw sa iba pang posisyon.
Maging sa Mindanao na itinuturing umanong balwarte ng mga Duterte, ay tinatayang 36 mula sa 44 pro-impeachment na mga Kongresista ang nanalo.

"This is no time for finger-pointing. We were elected not to protect careers, but to uphold our duty. The people have spoken, And they have spoken in favor of accountability," aniya.
