“This is a breach of public trust.”
“Real-time election data is non-negotiable. The Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP) is sounding the alarm — the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is sitting on Election Returns (ERs). It has been receiving ERs, yet the raw data remains stuck, unreleased to the Transparency Server,” pahayag ng PDP, na kilalang partido ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
“It begs to ask — Why the delay? This is a breach of public trust.”
“We’ve seen this before in previous elections where delays turned into doubts, and doubts eroded faith in our democracy,” saad ng PDP.
“COMELEC must act NOW. Filipinos cannot accept vague explanations or more technical excuses. Filipinos’ demand is simple: If there’s a glitch, solve it immediately. Every minute these votes stay hidden, trust erodes. Shouldn’t we demand real-time transparency? Filipinos aren’t asking for special treatment—just the basic right to see their votes counted as they happen, sans filters, delays, and excuses,” dagdag nito.
“Silence doesn’t calm fears, but fuels them. To all Filipinos, this is not just the PDP’s fight; it is yours, too. Will we stay silent or demand answers?” anang PDP.
“Let us stay vigilant and share the call because when it comes to our votes, every second of delay is a second too long,” saad ng PDP.
Camille Villar (rank 10), at reelectionist Senator Imee Marcos (rank 12).
