May pangako si House Speaker Martin Romualdez sa mga "ilaw ng tahanan" na ipinahayag niya sa mensahe niya sa pagdiriwang ng Mother's Day, Linggo, Mayo 11.
Sa kaniyang Facebook post, sinabi ni Romualdez na ipinapangako nila sa "Bagong Pilipinas" ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. ang pagbibigay-pugay sa mga ina sa pamamagitan ng mga batas, proteksyon, at mas mapagmalasakit na pamahalaan.
"To all Filipino mothers—whether caring for children at home, working far from their families, or guiding loved ones through life’s most significant challenges—this day is for you. Mothers are the silent architects of our nation’s future," aniya.
"Bagong Pilipinas of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is our promise to build a country that honors mothers through words and action. We will ensure their sacrifices are recognized and rewarded through better laws, stronger protections, and a more compassionate government."
